Forrestdale Business Park is emerging as the most significant industrial hub in Perth’s south-east and is an important employment area for the growing population, attracting investment from major corporations.

Forming part of the Armadale Redevelopment Area from 2008, the Forrestdale Business Park (West) project required a structure plan to guide subdivision and development of some 178ha in multiple ownership to produce an integrated and sustainable industrial and commercial estate. The need for equitable cost sharing arrangements required preparation of a Developer Contribution Scheme (DCS).
Various servicing and environmental issues were accommodated within the structure plan design.

The local structure plan and accompanying DCS has allowed individual landowners to proceed to detailed subdivision, and development of the first stages is now well advanced.
